Perez Tosses 3-0 Shutout Saturday, May 7th , 1966 Dario Perez shut out the Houston Drillers 3-0 on a 3-hit masterpiece for the Dallas Wranglers at Bluff Park today. "He was kind of teasing them with his off-speed stuff, and his fastball was moving everywhere," Dallas skipper William Albrecht said afterward. Perez registered 12 strikeouts and issued 3 walks in pitching a gem. "We just didn't swing the bats very well. Or else he just pitched good, whichever way you want to look at it," said Houston manager Steven Palps after the defeat.
