Winn Stands Out in Washington Shutout

Glen Winn of the Washington Rough Riders dominated the day at Monument Field today, pitching shutout ball against the Knickerbockers and holding them to 4 hits. He fanned 7 and walked 1 in spinning the 2-0 win.

"I can't take all the credit for this one," Winn said. "I had some great defense behind me."

Checking out his stats for the season, Winn has registered 4 wins and no losses in 8 starts, posted a 2.38 ERA, and struck out 43 batters in 64.1 innings.
