Glenn Danvers Sidelined for Season Wednesday, March 30th, 1955 The season is ending on a bad note for Glenn Danvers, starting pitcher for the Brooklyn Bluebirds. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Danvers was hurt against the New York Knickerbockers while throwing a pitch. He suffered a ruptured elbow ligament and will be out for at least 14 months. |
