Bluebirds Send Williams to Boston Monday, April 19th , 1965 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Brooklyn Bluebirds and the Boston Terriers have agreed to a deal that will have 27-year old LF Gary Williams, 31-year old RHP George Drumm, and 31-year old 2B Ty Shriner heading to Boston in exchange for a 1st round draft pick and a 4th round draft pick.
