Turner Thwarts Twin Cities, 8-0
Tuesday, April 18th , 1967
Fans at Twin Cities Stadium witnessed the Los Angeles Pobladores blank the Twin Cities Northmen, 8-0 behind a superb effort by starter Steve Turner. The Los Angeles right-hander allowed 5 hits in recording the shutout.
"Steve was good today but I don't want to focus too much on a single game," Los Angeles manager Kurt Peterson said later. "If you're capable of playing at this level, you're capable of having a good game. The real question is if you can learn from that game and repeat it."
