Chicago Signs LF Ray to 2-Year Extension

Chicago announced that they have signed 33-year-old left fielder Bill Ray to a 2-year, $624,000 agreement that will have him playing at Hyde Park Stadium for the foreseeable future.

For the season Ray is currently batting .218 with 2 home runs and 9 RBIs. In 15 games he has reached base at a .302 rate and scored 8 runs to date.
