Houston Shut Out, 2-0, By Seagulls, Rodriguez Friday, April 28th , 1961 Eduardo Rodriguez blitzed the Houston Drillers at Mission Field today, pitching the San Francisco Seagulls to victory, 2-0. Rodriguez needed 9 innings to shut out the Drillers, striking out 4. "I knew he had it in him, but it's still nice to see him put it all together," said San Francisco manager Al Borie.
