More Woes for Seagulls Dave Clinton Saturday, July 20th , 1963 A frustrated Dave Clinton told reporters today that he would be out an additional 4 days after suffering a relapse in his recovery from strained muscles in his rib cage. "I thought my recovery was coming along great, but then this happened," the San Francisco Seagulls center fielder revealed. "It's disappointing. I expected to be back with the team by now." This season Clinton is batting .212 with 34 hits, 1 home run, 11 RBIs, .306 OBP and has scored 24 runs. |
