Monday, June 26th , 1967
In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Seattle Emeralds and the Milwaukee Dairymen have agreed to a deal that will have 28-year old LHP Mike Blalock and 31-year old 1B Tom Howard heading to Milwaukee in exchange for 18-year old RHP Randy Zamzow, a 1st round draft pick, and a 3rd round draft pick. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games.

So far this season Howard has gotten 39 hits in 153 at-bats for a .255 batting average with 11 home runs. His stats include 27 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has played in 58 games.
