Keough Raps 500th Roundtripper Saturday, May 29th , 1976 It was a historic day in the life of Don Keough. The 35-year-old Pittsburgh left fielder recorded the 500th homer of his career in the Industrials 7-6 triumph over the Brooklyn Bluebirds. In the clubhouse after the game, Keough told BNN, "I was just looking for a ball to drive, and I got one." Keough is batting .285 with 1920 career base hits, including 369 doubles, 29 triples and 500 home runs with 1314 RBIs and 1128 runs scored.
