Kansas City Punchless in 8-0 Loss to Wranglers Friday, August 13th , 1965 Dallas Wranglers pitcher Steve Coomes did his job to perfection today, blanking the Kansas City Bulls at Bluff Park. He scattered 2 hits while striking out 8 in the 8-0 shutout. "All I did was not allow any runs," he joked after the game. "I mean, technically, that's what they pay me to do, right?"
