It was a good day for the Cleveland Bobcats and an exceptional one for Harold Batkin. The 36-year-old second baseman sent three bombs out of the park to help the Bobcats beat the Kansas City Bulls 7-0 at Independence Field.

"When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Batkin said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day."

For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 6 runs and smacked 3 hits in 5 at-bats.

Harold Batkin flied out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Billy Neas in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Billy Neas in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Billy Neas in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.

Batkin is currently hitting at a .339 pace with 29 home runs and 62 RBIs.
