Wiley Razor-Sharp, Shuts Out Philadelphia

Paul Wiley spun his magic in a 2-0 shutout victory at Quakers Stadium today, leading the Cleveland Bobcats to victory, 2-0 over the Philadelphia Quakers. The Cleveland pitcher put quite a spell on Philadelphia in a strong performance, allowing 5 hits while totaling 4 walks and 8 strikeouts.
"I had a lot of good things working in this one," Wiley said. "I worked both sides of the plate. I was rarely behind in the count."
