One Run Enough for Cincinnati

The Cincinnati Packers posted a 1-0 shutout over the St. Louis Explorers today on the strength of a strong performance by Joe Clabaugh. The Packers pitcher held the Explorers to 8 hits while walking 1 and fanning 5 in the route-going win.
"It feels good to be wearing a Cincinnati Packers uniform today," the right-hander said following the game.
