Adams Sends Chicago Bats to Deep Freeze
Wednesday, September 6th , 1967
Randy Adams was in a zone of his own most of the day, shutting out the Chicago Traders on 4 hits.

"He was too darn good for us today," grumbled Chicago manager Larry Link after the 4-0 loss to the Milwaukee Dairymen.

Adams finished with 4 strikeouts and 6 walks in a strong outing.

In the postgame press conference, Milwaukee manager Brandon Dudley said Adams "had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. He just pitched his butt off."

Adams has started 30 times this year, pitched 224.1 innings, fanned 149 batters and walked 68. His current record is 16 wins and 9 losses with a 2.77 ERA.
