Dallas-San Diego Swap: Robertson for Rosenberger Monday, February 7th , 1966 BNN is reporting a rumored trade between the Dallas Wranglers and San Diego Captains has been finalized. The deal, which is expected to be announced sometime during the next few hours, will reportedly send 20-year old 1B Dave Robertson and a 3rd round draft pick to San Diego in return for 23-year old RHP Steve Rosenberger. The clubs were noncommittal on the trade, but did not deny it. In his career, Rosenberger has a record of 16 wins and 12 losses and a 3.47 ERA. He has struck out 124 in 283 innings. |
