Setback for Los Angeles and Dick Berry Sunday, October 1st , 1967 Dick Berry, reliever for the Los Angeles Blockbusters, was making great progress in healing a mild shoulder strain according to a team spokesman, but suffered a setback yesterday. "Dick was doing great in his rehab until he overdid it in a recent workout. Now doctors say it will be at least 5 days before he will be able to rejoin the club." To date this year Berry has saved 14 games while tossing 132.2 innings. He has a 2.37 ERA, fanned 102 batters and made 71 relief appearances. |
