Bluebirds White Stops Packers Tuesday, July 25th , 1961 Jerry White of the Brooklyn Bluebirds dominated the day at Flatbush Park today, pitching shutout ball against the Packers and holding them to 1 hit. He fanned 2 and walked 6 in spinning the 2-0 win. "I can't take all the credit for this one," White said. "I had some great defense behind me." This year White has a 7-7 record and a 4.65 ERA.
