Howard Collects Cycle

Seattle Emeralds second baseman Tom Howard hit for the cycle today, but his club still went home with their heads hung low.
The Emeralds were upended 6-4 by the Detroit Wolverines, despite the big 4-for-5 day from Howard
"It was a good game for me," Howard said later. "I wish it could have been a good game for all of us."
The Emeralds second baseman sparked the offense with a truly special performance, hitting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to add his name to the record books. Howard also finished with 2 runs scored and 3 RBI.
Tom Howard doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Oakley in the 6th, tripled in the 8th and grounded out in the 10th.
Currently Howard is batting .374 with 7 home runs, 32 RBIs and 22 runs scored.
