Nana Hubbard victimized San Diego Captains hurlers today, smashing 4 home runs in a herculean effort that will go down in the National Baseball League record books.

In an epic hitting spree at San Diego Sporting Complex, the Los Angeles right fielder went downtown again and again, leading the Blockbusters to a 10-2 triumph. He went 4-for-5, drove in 5 runs and scored 4 times in the historic game.

"The first ones just happened," he said later, discussing the game. "However, that last time, I was swinging for the fences -- and WHAM -- I nailed it."

Nana Hubbard hit a solo-shot off Steve Turner in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Steve Turner in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Ray Beasley in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Ray Beasley in the 9th.

For the season Hubbard is hitting .277, batted in 11 runs with 7 home runs and 9 runs scored.
