3 Boomers for Hill
Friday, July 4th , 1958
It was a good day for the Milwaukee Dairymen and an exceptional one for Bingham Hill. The 24-year-old catcher sent three bombs out of the park to help the Dairymen beat the Kansas City Bulls 5-4 at Independence Field.

"When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Hill said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day."

For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 4 runs and smacked 3 hits in 4 at-bats.

Bingham Hill hit a solo-shot off Stan Cox in the 2nd, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Stan Cox in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Stan Cox in the 9th.

This season Hill has banged out 36 hits in 104 at-bats for a .346 average with 7 home runs. He is getting on base at a .370 pace and his totals also include 22 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
