Mizer Superb Against Louisville Sunday, July 1st , 1962 Larry Mizer had the Louisville Colonels dancing to his tune today with a sparkling 3-0 shutout performance for the Rochester Red Wings. He gave up 4 hits, issued 1 walk and had 5 strikeouts. Louisville hitters were bewildered throughout the game by his delivery. "When you face a guy who hides the ball like he does, it takes a couple of at-bats to try to find his release point," opposing manager said. "We just never figured him out."
