The Salt Lake City Waders fell to the Denver Bears in Denver CO minor league park today, even as 24-year-old second baseman Bill Holderbaum upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Holderbaum finished with 1 hit in 4 at-bats, but could not stop the Waders from dropping the 7-4 decision.

"Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Holderbaum.
Bill Holderbaum grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.

This year Holderbaum has batted at a .357 pace with 20 hits, 1 home run, 5 RBIs and scored 6 times.
