Sonntag Razor-Sharp, Shuts Out Honolulu Saturday, August 11th , 1962 Allan Sonntag of the Vancouver Mounties really strutted his stuff on the mound today with a 9-0 victory. He was almost untouchable, bewildering the Honolulu Kings with a 3-hit shutout in which he struck out 6 and gave up 1 walk. To date this year Sonntag has compiled a 4-5 mark with a 4.50 ERA in 10 starts. |
