He crafted a fine 5-hitter to blank the Cougars 5-0. He chalked up 4 strikeouts and 2 walks along the way. "It certainly makes my job easy when my pitcher tosses a shutout," said Phoenix skipper . "I can just sit back, watch and enjoy." So far this season Placeholder has a 8-9 record, 18 starts, 116 innings, 37 strikeouts and a 5.59 ERA. |
