A fine 8-11 won-lost record, 2.60 ERA, 34 starts, 204 innings and 170 strikeouts -- a season good enough to earn him the WBL Pitcher of the Year Award.

He received 8 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Ron Maisner of the Denver Bears finished second in voting, while Bruce Catto of the Salt Lake City Waders finished third.
