HBL Choice for Batter of the Month is Ellison Saturday, September 1st , 1962 Eddie Ellison made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the Heartland Baseball League this past month. The Omaha Bulls catcher shined through the month of August and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 22-year-old hit .361 with 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 17 runs scored. Ellison has batted .290 for his career with 126 hits, 22 doubles, 3 triples, 18 home runs, and 72 RBIs. |
