LSL's Top Hitter Selected Saturday, September 1st , 1962 Rich Pakula is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Amarillo right fielder joined that select company when the Lone Star Baseball League announced the results of August's voting. Pakula totaled 26 hits, 15 walks, 7 home runs, 22 RBIs and 14 runs scored last month to put together a .295 batting average and .390 on-base percentage. |
