Lee Wins Best Bat Award in August Saturday, September 1st , 1962 Allentown Quakers fans believe they've got a talented young star in Chet Lee. He did nothing to dissuade that notion in August, as he hit .349 with 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 12 runs scored. The end result was the center fielder being named the Northeastern Baseball League Batter of the Month. |
