Rolf Takes Best Bat Trophy in July Wednesday, August 1st , 1962 Even though he is a newcomer to Blue Ridge Baseball League, Steve Rolf put up some good numbers in July and earned the BRL Batter of the Month award. He was one of Salem's offensive leaders with a .368 average in 26 games. He also racked up 2 home runs, 17 RBIs, and 19 runs scored. Rolf is batting .330 this year with 11 home runs, 57 RBIs and 53 runs scored. He has 132 hits in 400 at-bats. |
