Cowboys Steinmetz Snags BSL Player of the Week Monday, August 13th , 1962 It was announced today by the Big Sky Baseball League that Twin Falls center fielder Hank Steinmetz had received the Player of the Week Trophy for his superlative play last week. During his week-long batting binge he reeled off a .318 batting average, 7 hits and 4 home runs. Steinmetz also racked up 8 RBIs and scored 6 runs. Thus far this year Steinmetz has hit .382 with 15 home runs and 31 RBIs. |
