Mustangs Star Wins Pitcher of the Year Award

Roger Pochatko had a terrific 1962 season in the Big Sky Baseball League. The Billings pitching stalwart received the most votes and has been proclaimed this year's Pitcher of the Year Award winner.

The Mustangs ace starred with an impressive 11-3 record. In 19 starts, he gave up 101 base hits and struck out 111 in 127.2 innings with a 2.96 ERA. Opposing teams hit .218 against him.

He received 6 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Rookie Placeholder of the Billings Mustangs finished second in voting, while Tommy Robinson of the Billings Mustangs finished third.
