| Brooklyn dropped their iconic script from their jerseys and caps this year; the script would return within a few seasons, but the orange highlight on the short-lived bluebird cap logo would become a part of their branding in the years to come. The Traders switched the sky blue from their home uniforms to their road uniforms this year. Chicago's sky-blue road jerseys would be the sole exception to the unwritten gray-for-road rule until 1964, and all home uniforms would be white until 1972. |
