The Pittsburgh Industrials stopped the Cincinnati Packers, 5-1, behind an impressive performance from Don Keough. The seven-time All-Star made life miserable for Cincinnati pitching. He went 3-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The defeat makes Cincinnati 26-29.

Early in the game, Keough had a 3-run home run for Pittsburgh. It was his 24th home run of the season and put the Industrials on top, 3-0.

"It was a tough night at the plate," said Cincinnati manager Martin Abresch.
