Toronto Win to Pull Even With Cincinnati
The Toronto Hurons and the Cincinnati Packers will take the World Series to a decisive 7th game. In a must-win situation today, the Hurons beat the Packers 3-1 at Roman Arena to force the series into what will essentially be a one-game playoff. Toronto left-hander Sam Partridge had a big role in the win. He threw 9.0 innings of 4-hit ball.

Partridge, who was born in Canton, Mississippi, threw 125 pitches over 9 innings, while allowing 1 run.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Partridge. "Successful pitchers do it."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Roman Arena in Cincinnati.
