Dallas Wranglers Guaranteed Top Spot in American Baseball League Western Division

The Dallas Wranglers are heading to the playoffs as champions of the American Baseball League Western Division.
"It wasn't as close a race as we expected in the end, but that's a credit to the guys in this room who played their hearts out all season," said starting pitcher Dario Perez.
The team's record currently sits at 98-51 and the division crown is their 10th in franchise history. The team will be looking to win a 3rd Major League Baseball championship.

San Francisco Won't Make Playoffs

It's back to the drawing board for the San Francisco Seagulls. The club's efforts at building a championship contender fell short this year, as the team was officially eliminated from playoff contention today.
This is the club's 5th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1962. In total, the Seagulls have missed the playoffs 14 times in their 22-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Seagulls have missed the playoffs 6 times. San Francisco last won the World Series in 1962.
