Divisional Round Game 1 Victory for Castro and Denver
The Divisional Round got off to a quiet start, with the host Denver Burros taking a low-scoring, 1-0 win over the San Diego Captains. Denver right-hander Francisco Castro was marvelous at Gates Crescent Park. The Burros now hold a 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Castro confounded San Diego hitters. Over 8 innings, he allowed no runs on 7 hits.

"Francisco was throwing free and easy," said Denver manager Clark Anderson.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Gates Crescent Park in Denver.
