Atlanta Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
The Atlanta Generals wiggled past the Boston Terriers, 3-2, at Atlantic Station Field. The win was highlighted by the performance of Atlanta pitcher Dave Allen. The win belongs to Mark Campbell in relief. His record improves to 3-5. Kim Glanden took the loss for Boston. The Generals raised their record to 34-38.
The Generals procured the win, in large part because of catcher Chris Swanson. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"This place sure got loud," said Philipe Yazzie, the Atlanta manager.
