Twin Cities Gets 6-2 Win
|
Twin Cities Northmen starter Charlie Sokol turned in a top-notch performance against the Seattle Emeralds at Puget Field. The result was a win for the Northmen, 6-2. Twin Cities has run its win streak to 6 in a row.
Twin Cities used a well-timed hit by Emil Wathen to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Northmen ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Sokol.
