Late Rally by Lords Secures 5-3 Win

The home crowd had a good time watching the Toronto Hurons and Baltimore Lords get after it.
The Baltimore Lords picked up a win at Seton Hill Stadium, knocking off the Toronto Hurons, 5-3. Starting pitcher Jose Rodriguez played a key role in the triumph. The American Baseball League Eastern Division-leading Lords are 43-30.
Had Tim McNeely not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, McNeely hit a 2-run single. That made the score 5-3, in favor of the Lords.
"We did a lot of things right," said McNeely.
