San Francisco Gets 6-4 Win Against Emeralds
|
San Francisco first baseman Bob Raab played a vital role in his team's 6-4 triumph over Seattle. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for San Francisco. The defeat makes Seattle 5-2.
Chuck Shaffer chipped in for San Francisco with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the eighth. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Raab told the San Francisco Observer.
