Bluebirds Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Industrials, 6-4
The Brooklyn Bluebirds topped the Pittsburgh Industrials, 6-4, with right fielder Mike LeDuc playing a big role. LeDuc went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Bluebirds in the win. Bob Hill, credited with the win, is now 4-5. He allowed no runs on 1 hit. The last-place Bluebirds improved to 32-42.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, LeDuc hit a cutter from Dan Manney for a 2-run home run. The Bluebirds, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"What a buzz," said LeDuc after it was over.
