Dallas Nets 3-2 Win Versus Seagulls
|
Dallas Wranglers starter Steve Coomes pitched his team past the San Francisco Seagulls in 13 innings, 3-2. The Dallas win streak is now 3 games.
Dallas used the timely hitting of Terry Meola to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 13th inning to put the Wranglers on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Steve just settled in and did what he does," said Dallas manager William Albrecht.
