|
The Boston Terriers downed the Toronto Hurons, 9-5, at Atlantic Avenue Grounds. Larry Montgomery led the way, going 1-for-2 for Boston. The last-place Terriers go to 30-45.
Mike Cash helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 3-1, Terriers.
"We take it day by day here," said Cash, "and today was a good one for us."
