Blockbusters Upend Dairymen, 6-3
Los Angeles and Milwaukee duked it out and the Blockbusters came out victorious.

The Los Angeles Blockbusters topped the Milwaukee Dairymen by a score of 6-3. Leading the way was left fielder Ernie Ronnebaum. Ronnebaum was 1-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Blockbusters. Ralph Weintraub earned the win. Tom Rockliffe, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 1968 draft, took the loss for Milwaukee. Picking up the save was Tom Benson. He's now 16 for 22 in save chances.

Early in the game, Ronnebaum had a grand slam home run for Los Angeles. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Blockbusters on top, 4-0.

"Today was a lot of fun," said Ronnebaum.
