Lords Walk It Off for 36th Win of Season
For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.

Atlanta got a valiant performance from pitcher Ron Cwiklinski, but it wasn't enough to beat the Baltimore Lords. Baltimore won the game, 2-1. Cwiklinski threw 7.0 innings of 2-hit ball for the losing team. Baltimore is 36-40 and Atlanta, with the loss, 36-41.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Baltimore second baseman James Pendleton, facing Ron Winder, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Lords the 2-1 win.

"Bottom line," said Atlanta skipper Philipe Yazzie, "we didn't play well enough to win."
