Boston took on Toronto in front of a lively crowd.
Nate Edwards brought his A-game to help Boston defeat the Toronto Hurons, 3-0. Edwards got the win, improving to 8-2. He gave up 7 hits and walked 3 over 7 innings. He allowed no runs. Layton Taylor earned the save, his 10th in 13 tries.
Bernie Tudor, who is tied for 6th in the ABL in hits with 91, had a direct impact on the outcome. Tudor contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put Boston up, 1-0.
Boston manager Phil Palapa commended his team for "banging out a nice win."
