Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Mark Clark? The 30-year old left fielder Clark stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put Twin Cities up, 3-2. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.

"We had the right guys up at the right times," said Houston manager Steven Palps. "We just didn't cash in."
