McDaniel goes 4-for-5 to Ignite Blockbusters Offense
The Los Angeles Blockbusters stopped the Kansas City Bulls, 9-7, behind an impressive performance from Kermit McDaniel. The 30-year old left fielder made life miserable for Kansas City pitching. He went 4-5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. The winning pitcher was Dario Fontanez. He's now 6-5. He went 5.2 innings, allowing 5 runs on 10 hits for the Blockbusters. The Los Angeles winning streak has reached 3 games.

With Los Angeles leading 1-0 in the top of the second, McDaniel hit a cutter from Tim McDonald for a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Blockbusters ahead, 4-0.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said McDaniel.
