In a tight tilt between the Toronto Hurons and the Houston Drillers, Dan Crumm was the deciding factor. The Toronto left-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Crumm, the winner, moves to 9-5. He threw 7 innings of 1-hit ball, while fanning 1 and giving up no walks. The 5th-place Hurons now sit at 38-44.

The Hurons benefited from a costly error in the top of the ninth. With Roberto Hinojosa at bat and Toronto leading 2-1, the Houston miscue allowed Toronto to plate 1 and take the lead, 3-1.

"Nice win for us," said Hinojosa. "Now we'll go after the next one."
